The Average Household in Afghanistan Has Risen to 7

The Afghan Central Statistics Office announced that Afghanistan’s estimated population is about 31.6 million in 2018. The Afghan Ministry of Economy announced that Afghanistan's population growth has risen from 2.03 percent to 2.14 percent this year, which is alarming because of its low economic growth. Afghanistan’s population is increasing day by day. Now the average population of each Afghan household has reached to seven persons, said Mustafa Mastour, Afghanistan’s Minister of Economy, in a gathering held for the celebration of the World Population Day, on July 16th. Mr. Mastour added that earlier, the average population of each family was about six persons, and that in most Afghan families only one person is breadwinner and supplier.
