Taxation is a highly regulated industry in Afghanistan. We provide tax services for local and international clients including major national, NATO and foreign government contractors working in Afghanistan. We assist clients in obtaining the necessary tax exemption certification as per the relevant bilateral agreements. We assist in proper and accurate preparation of legally mandated monthly, quarterly and annual filings and obtaining taxpayer identification numbers. In provision of our tax related services, we ensure that all filings are properly and accurately prepared and timely submitted. We provide services vis-à-vis tax clearance letters for each fiscal year that should be obtained before expiry of a client’s business license and tax audit process and tax enforcement proceedings. A major assignment we have undertaken in this area is representation of a US-DoD contractor in a
$100,000,000.00+ tax dispute, which we resolved successfully.
